Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays are utilized in the diagnosis of dental disease and other pathology. Digital X-rays aide us in the early detection of cavities, infection, and dental growth in children, teenagers, and young adults. As always, it is better to diagnose and treat early. All of our x-rays are taken extraorally and are digital. Our Planmeca Promax machine is fast, easy, and much more comfortable for our patients than traditional x-rays. We no longer have to place uncomfortable cardboard film pieces in our patients mouths. Additionally, the Planmeca Promax uses one third the radiation as tradition x-rays. We adhere to the American Dental Association guidelines on the frequency of x-rays or radiographs.
