Dr. Anisha Patel
Dr. Anisha Patel spent her childhood years in the Midwest before moving to Blairs, VA. Dentistry was the most attractive healthcare field to her as it requires dedication, high-quality, and hard work. Caring for patients and building her own relationships is an extremely appealing factor to her. She believes her outgoing character is very suited to building long term relationships with her patients, improving their health outcomes, while reducing overall cost of their health care.
Dr. Patel received a BA in Biology and Psychology at the University of Virginia, Masters in Physiology and Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Apart from work, she is an active member of the community and participates in Give Kids a Smile day and Mission of Mercy projects. Additionally, she has organized local dental health fairs where she provides oral health education and basic screenings for community members.
Dr. Patel enhances her knowledge by engaging herself in continuing education and remains adept to the evolution of dentistry.
Dr. Patel is married and enjoys raising her daughter, reading and spending time with her friends and family. She volunteers her time at local charities, and mentors many young individuals towards building a successful career.

Mexican - What are your interests in dentistry? Any specialties you would like to become certified in or areas you would like to explore?
My interests are pediatric dentistry and crowns. I would like to get a fellowship in general dentistry. - Do you have any children? How old? How did you and your husband meet?
Yes, I have a daughter who is 9 months old. I met my husband thru family. - What is the #1 song played on your iPod?
